Helping children in foster care find hope and stability

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Children taken from their homes often leave with only the items they can fit in a trash bag, facing tremendous hardship without any fault of their own. They must deal with a range of challenges, including trauma and instability.

This is where the nonprofit organization Least of These (LOT) Carolinas plays a vital role. The group is committed to enhancing the quality of life for children experiencing foster and kinship care by offering necessary support and resources at critical times.

On November 19th, WCCB Charlotte’s Morgan Fogarty will host LOT Carolinas’ fall gala, titled “Step Into Their Story.” This event is focused on raising awareness and garnering support for children and families involved in the foster care system. Tickets for the gala are available for purchase now.
